The“Triple-ridged Pot”series matured and evolved into the “Taiwan, the Precious Island” series. It developed from daily footsteps on the soil, Taiwan as the inspiration and theme, each piece of pottery is native to Taiwan: clay and make.
Wood-fired ceramics appears to be simple, but it is in fact full of boundless wisdom and crystallizes fine artistic techniques. From within the glowing clay emerges “Mother Glaze”, creating a new visual field in ceramic arts. The“Taiwan, the Precious Island”series shows how high temperature wood-fired ceramics are qualitative change in art, with an infinitely wide future!
